2022 — The Beginning
It started when co-founder Arjun noticed that his classmates were paying ₹2,000–5,000 to get their resumes designed by freelancers — resumes that often looked generic and failed ATS scans. He teamed up with Meera (designer) and Sahil (developer) to build a free alternative.
2023 — Growth
Within a year, DesignResume.in had reached 100,000 users through word-of-mouth alone. Positive reviews on Reddit and LinkedIn brought a wave of new users, and the team expanded to 10 members working remotely across India.
2024–2026 — Today
Today, we serve over 2 million job seekers with 50+ templates, a powerful form builder, and features like photo cropping, signature upload, and instant PDF export. We remain committed to keeping our core product completely free.
